The Challenge

My Other House, based in Belfast in Northern Ireland, specialises in helping investors and holiday home hunters to find and purchase property in new and emerging markets.
With the internet serving as the first port-of-call for most overseas investors, the website needed to help clients find potential properties as easily as possible, and then to provide as much information as possible on the property.

The Strategy

The website needed to include a full-blown custom developed property management system which would allow the customer to add new regions and new properties as the were added to the portfolio.
The client wanted potential investors to have access to as much information as possible, so the bespoke content management systems needed to provide a mechanism for displaying a series of image galleries and also a live link through to view the property in Google maps.
Several ‘Contact Points’ are offered on the site, giving the potential investor every opportunity to ‘raise their hand’.

The Results

The information-rich site provides potential investors with lots of detail to help them decide which development would be best suited to their individual needs. Online tools such as the online mortgage calculator also help in the decision making process, which ultimately results in well qualified prospects contacting the company to progress with an investment.
