Junior Golf Academy
The Challenge
Junior Golf Academy is a new academic program – the first of its kind in Ireland. The Junior Golf Academy allows young golfing talent the opportunity to fully explore and develop what is required to have a career within the golfing industry.
The course managers required a site which would allow potential students to find out more about the course, do some background research on the team behind the program and a facility to allow the students to apply online.
The Strategy
WebsiteNI designed and developed a golf-orientated website to appeal to the students applying for the program. As well as providing details on the actual course and the staff, we developed a student profiles section to allow the students to showcase their progress to their friends and even to potential golf related employers.
With most of the traffic to the website being somewhat fanatical about golf, we added an image gallery using the lightbox image gallery software to display high quality photos of the students out and about on the golf course.
The Results
Students were directed to the website via various off-line marketing communications and from there they were able to find out more about the program and apply online. The website played a key role in the recruitment of students for the programmes all-important first year.
