Golf Event Management (GEM)
The Challenge
Golf Event Management (Gem) required a site which would help them to market their event management services. Appealing to the golfing community in general and specifically to the corporate market, they required a top-notch website to convey their professionalism and attention to detail.
The Strategy
We developed a professional website with a strong golfing look and feel. A clever flash animation is used on the homepage to show the golf ball (and client’s event plans) falling into place in a hole in one.
The ‘event organizer’ area provides every opportunity for the potential client to raise their hand, while the ‘upcoming events’ JavaScript feature helps keep the site looking fresh and updated.
Drawing from a superb gallery of images supplied courtesy of Aidan Bradley, the site uses a lightbox image gallery to display the photos and help reinforce the companies golfing credentials.
The Results
The slick and professional GEM website provides a professional marketing platform for approaching corporate customers and providing them with information on the services offered, in a reassuringly corporate golf-orientated environment.
